Blood Pressure Monitors

Blood Pressure Monitors

Automatic blood pressure monitors function by powering a small motor within the housing of the diagnostic unit, inflating a cuff that measures the force of the blood in the veins and arteries of a user's arm.   By slowly cutting blood flow to the arm and stopping the pressure, a blood pressure monitor can accurately record a given value when the arm's blood pressure returns -  through the release of a valve that releases the inflated air from the cuff.
